This is a resident osprey at Rowlett side of Lake Ray Hubbard and closest distance yet i was able to get one with nicer background facing the light. It sat on a perch i always wish it would be on and it did this morning!

It’s taken with Rebel 2Ti APS-C 1.6x crop sensor on 500mm and 2X III TC (manual focus) since my Mark IV is still in the shop; Otherwise i would nail the take off sequence….
