A Singing Northern Bobwhite Quail in the Morning

Had an invitation to Childress Texas one day for photography op and i took it. They have plenty of bobwhites up in the Panhandler. During my stay, i’ve seen and photographed a handful of them early in the morning thanks to a friend and a fellow photographer knew his way around town. In this picture, the raising sun in the morning filled the background with subtle orange glow and the bird was singing.
