Barn Swallow Aerial Feeds Fledglings

Jun is the month for Barn Swallow feeding at White Rock Lake. About first week of Jun last year, i found number of fledglings perched low with decent background i can live with but this year is even better.

Less than two feet off the ground with much uniform and green foliage for backdrop, the Barn Swallow aerial feeding fledglings this year tops previous by a notch. Despite the feeding fest lasts only two hours while i put whole week of effort waiting for it …. but it’s all good. No complaint.

Better Beam was used to lit the dark feather of the adult head on a cloudy day.
