Bird’s Eye View of the Sea of Sunflowers

Prosper, a small Texas town north to Frisco is a home to several beautiful Sunflowers’ fields. Though it lacks magnificent backdrop of mountains and cool scenes but you can’t beat driving less than an hour from the city to see and smell the freshness of Sunflowers. Here’s bird’s eye view of one of the field on a calmed late evening with Canon 15mm fisheye. The sky was too clear, no impact of clouds but you bet i will be back for more right?

To get a more define fisheye look, angle is aimed higher while the scene is symmetrical, splitting the background in half and foreground is carefully picked with sunflowers formed in a triangle shape.

  • Canon, EOS 1D Mark IV
  • EF 15mm 2.8 USM Fisheye
  • ISO 100, 1s, F22 ,15mm
