Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk on a Perch – Seagoville, TX

Visited John Bunker Sands Wetland Center and spotted this Young Red-tailed Hawk on ground initially, then slowly moving up and jumping though low branches later. I got close and had to step back for composition. It could be an exhausted bird or a young one just out on its own, still learning how to fly.
