Salt Marsh Moth Caterpillar

Post on May 13, 2013 Caterpillar BugsMacro

Found a Salt Marsh Moth larva at Village Creek Drying beds while shooting the shorebirds. This woolly bear was scurrying on the ground with quite a speed for a caterpillar. So i picked it up, put it on a perch and had a quick close up with my MPE-65mm.
