Sunrise and Seagull Silhouette at Quintana Beach, Texas

I left my wide angle at the motel last time i ventured south to Houston area. What the heck, let’s do 700mm sunrise! There weren’t many birds flying on the horizon that time so I tracked some unknown distanced seagull, stepped down to F14 waited till it crossed the raising sun and fired away. The sunrise was so intense that morning, this is practically color straight out of raw without any adjustment.

Rather than that, Quintana was dead that morning. Few bird of preys too shy to post and worse, my truck got stuck in sand on a lazy turn. Fortunately, a kind Samaritan drove by and he pulled my truck out of misery. That says, Quintana left me a bad taste. I should stay at High Island and Bolivar Flats like i used too, darn gas and motel are too costly these days.
