Took a day trip, 8 hours drive day to Waller Texas back in March for this Great Horned nest. Best in Texas i’ve seen so far for photo-op, in fact, any raptor nests. It’s located on a private property. The Nest is eye-leveled on a huge tree trunk about 8-10 feet off the ground with distanced green foliage as backdrop.
Wish the adult owls weren’t too skittish, it would have better with one of the parent in the frame.
