when wind blows 20mph or beyond, it’s not a bad idea to get ’em flycatchers in flight – especially the scissor-tails hunt in the open field. The Oklahoma state birds’ long, forked-tail enables the birds to maneuver acrobatically in high wind condition and they tend to fly low for preys, often hovering on air against the opposite wind – This is where you get the wing and tail spread shoot.
