Barred Owl Perch – White Rock Lake

One of the my favorite Barred Owl picture from White Rock lake during the post mating season. I waited for hours and finally this little owl ( i called him little owl because it is the smallest adult barred owl i ever seen) got out of sleeping mode, perched on an open branch and started grooming. Instead of my normal close up on the subject, i took a few steps back and remove the tele-convertor to include more on the perch.

How you like the composition?
