Juvenile Cooper’s Hawk with Prey

A friend invited me to check out a family of 4 juvenile coopers’ hawks at his parent place, sadly, there was a storm when we got there. We stopped at a local sport bar for a drink instead, then returned to find this young gun got a prey under his claw. That was right after the storm, dark and cloudy, but Image Stabilizer came to rescue. Not bad hand-holding 11 pounder at 1/50s right?
