A pair of Zebra Longwing butterflies mate and perch on palm tree leaf. The subtle leaves pattern background is a fan palm fronds set using 20mm extension tube with aperture of F5.6. Carefully line up your subjects in focus plane can often produce unexpected result. But it’s pity that one of the butterfly is in very bad shape, i suspect that’s a female since she gets to choose her mate.
