Zebra Longwing Butterfly Mating

The Zebra Longwing Butterflies don’t often stay still as oppose to other Longwings, but they are completely opposite during mating. This pair of Zebra lovers mated for hours and kept the same posture still, which allowed me to pick a variety of background to go with the courtship.

I have several different angles of the couple but this one has the growing pattern in background that’s similar to the perch, which i like better.
