The Barred Owlet at Sunset bay is a day older and shown up 30 minutes earlier than the day before. Despite another cloudy day, i was able to gain 4 stops of light with much detailed capture without the motion blur due to low shutter speed.
The owlet stood on the opening the entire time while we were there except on an occasion with a quick moved down and came back out in a matter of minutes. I’m not certain but i caught a glimpse of wing movement inside the cavity – it’s possible that we have more than one this year…
