A rare Burrowing Owl made it appearance at Wolf Springs Road and India Road in South East Dallas County Texas back in 2012. It didn’t stay long as the burrow the owl has chosen to shelter was in bad shape, too close to the road and collapsed eventually after heavy rain storms and evident of vehicles drove over it – tire track.
