The Great Horned Owls have returned to its winter roosting spot where we first spotted them near Sunset Bay, White Rock Lake. It’s all fun and game again during late evening – the hooting and the 10 minutes window where they come out catching fresh air, stretching their wings before heading out hunt for dinner.
This is a male great horned owl, actually the first time i got him in the open so it was quite a treat since it’s already Jun where the leaves are fast growing and thick.
