The winter irruptions brought Snowy Owls further south this year. A female snowy owl was spotted in Robertson Park at Lake Ray Hubbard around February and it was the 6th recorded bird in Texas. It’s very rare and drew birders and photographers as far as Louisiana. To see one in person, just 40 minutes from home was unbelievably amazing. The bird show up early in the morning, stayed all day on a power pole till sunset. She disappeared the day after and never return. Lucky me got her on last day visiting to the South.
