After two weeks, on my 4th attempt to get the Mississippi kite in flight, i finally came away with an interesting angle showing the full front view of an adult. It carried a cicada, took off lower to the ground then elevated to its nest about 25 feet up to feed its young. Taken at Pappy Elkins park, Arlington Texas.
