Scissor-tailed Flycatcher Perch – White Rock Lake

The hill at White Rock Lake Winfrey Point is perhaps the best location for Flycatchers in North Dallas area, and definitely the finest i’ve ever been. There are hundreds of 2-4 feet tall stalks in soft greenish field mixed with wildflowers, and the flycatchers hunt there and perch on the nature stalks. The best part? They are not skittish, i can walk up to them within 15 feet.
