American Coot runs on the Water

Post on January 23, 2015 Coot and Moorhen BirdsWaterfowl

Nemesis No More! Finally got the “Jesus Coot” – coot runs on water in low angle perspective I’ve been trying for ages! The kicker is i’ve done it without my Wimberley gimbal support for smooth panning. Instead, i use the palm of my hand as support, torn a few skin tissues but nothing alcohol wipe can’t fix.

Both feet up : checked
Both wings up : checked
Wave and splash : checked

It’s a wrap!
